Took a fitness marketplace from initial concept and product design all the way to launch on the App Store.

The Challenge
The goal was to turn a fairly broad marketplace idea into something people could actually use. The product had to work for both customers looking for fitness services and businesses offering them, while keeping the core experience simple enough to get from discovery to booking without much friction.
The Solution
I handled the product from design through implementation, working across information architecture, user flows, UI, interaction design, and engineering. This meant making product decisions with both the experience and the underlying implementation in mind, rather than designing something first and figuring out how to build it later.

Project Information
FitIn was built as a marketplace connecting users with gyms, trainers, and fitness experiences. The product covered onboarding, discovery, search, listings, profiles, booking, payments, and business-side workflows.
I took the product from the initial design through development and ultimately shipped it to the Apple App Store. It reached 2,000+ users, generated around $12K in revenue, and achieved a 35% conversion rate within six months.
The project is probably one of the better examples of how I like to work: getting involved early, shaping the product, designing the experience, building it, and staying with it until it is actually in people's hands.
